— Matcha slushi base
Fresh milk1.5L
Matcha powder6 tsp (24g)
Honey3 tbsp (30g)
— Lower-sugar strawberry chia puree
Frozen strawberries500g
Honey, to taste2 tbsp
Chia seed1 tbsp

6 steps

The method

01

Whisk 50ml milk with 3 tbsp matcha until smooth.

02

Transfer to a measuring jar, add 2 tbsp honey and 450ml of milk, and stir to make a matcha latte.

03

Pour directly into the slush machine and slush. Repeat once more, then pour in another 500ml of fresh milk and press slush to start.

04

For the puree, simmer the strawberries on low heat for 5-7 minutes until soft. Stir in honey halfway through, pressing down with a spatula to break the strawberries apart.

05

Turn off the heat, mix in the chia seeds and let it thicken for 10 minutes.

06

To assemble, drop 3-4 tbsp strawberry chia puree into a glass as the base and top with matcha slush.
